The 1:2 Scale Mini helmet reproduces the design of the HP77 worn by Pierre during the 2023 Austin GP at COTA, while driving for the Alpine F1 Team. The helmet design was in tribute to the late French F1 Driver Francois Cevert as it marked the 50th Anniversary of Cevert’s tragic death during practice for the 1973 United States Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.
Cevert was a teammate and close friend of Triple World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart during their time at Tyrell. Stewart was visibly moved and emotional when he saw Gasly’s helmet design ahead of the race. This is number 273 of only 600 ever produced and has long since sold out on Pierre’s website.
Created in collaboration with Bell racing helmets in the same facility where the drivers race helmets are produced. It is made using similar materials and advanced engineering solutions and is hand painted by specialist craftsmen.
